Testing Process
4049-2 cartridges are tested using two methods to ensure maximum
reliability. Preliminary testing with the LT-777 Universal Cartridge
Analyzer verifies proper operation of the magnetic roller, OPC
drum, cartridge charging system, wiper and recovery blades. Final
testing is accomplished by visual inspection of the cartridge
and of the printed pages produced from the finished cartridge.
By testing the cartridge in the appropriate printer, proper operation
is verified. Final test pages include grey scale and black level
tests and character formation tests.

| Packaging
Each toner cartridge is packaged in either our OEM generic box,
to satisfy the needs of our retail store clients, or our own Envirolaser
packaging. Both types of packaging are 100% recyclable, being
composed of corrugated paper and pressed paper molded materials.
The anti-static, mylar film bag is the only component of our package
which is not recyclable.
|
| Simplified Installation Instructions
Open the clamshell cover of printer and remove spent toner cartridge.
While holding replacement toner cartridge in a horizontal orientation,
gently rock cartridge side to side and front to back to ensure
proper toner distribution. Remove seal. Insert toner into proper
location on printer. Close cover and print 5 to 10 pages to ensure
proper cartridge operation.

the required repair or replacement of the printer will be at no
